A new motorcycle recovery service, Motorcycle Rescue, has been launched
in Wellington. Using
a purpose-built trailer that lowers its deck parallel to the ground
for easy loading and unloading, it can carry bikes from the smallest
to the very largest. Based in Wellington, Motorcycle Rescue operates
seven days a week, principally within the area bounded by the Kapiti
coast, Upper Hutt and Cook Strait, but recovery from beyond that area
is available. Bikes recovered outside normal working hours can be held
overnight and delivered to the workshop of choice on the next working
